After the ribs injury of Wanderlei Silva, he has to withdraw from UFC 116 match against Yoshihiro Akiyama on July 3rd in Las Vegas. For this reason there placed some modification on the fighting schedule and now Asian Superstar Chris Leben is going to fight against Yoshihiro Akiyama. Chris Leben is a native of Portland and now he is a resident of Hawaii. He has a long history of Mixed Martial Arts fighting and standout in the middleweight championship for a long time. He wins game on UFC against the players like Patrick Cote, Jorge Rivera, Terry Martin, and Alessio Sakara. The most attractive feature about him is that he is being unbeaten in 2010. On January he wins against Jay Silva, and on the last week he gets a great win on the 2nd round against Aaron Simpson. This will be his second fight in two weeks when he will get into the octagon against Akiyama in Las Vegas. This will be a great introducing for Akiyama after the Fight of the Night against Alan Belcher at UFC 100 in July 2009. This was a great event and really memorable for its ultimate excitement. Akiyama is a great Judo player and he has the ability to kick faster than the others. This will not be too easy for the players to have a result. They have to do lots of fighting in order to make a result. According to the professionals, Akiyama has not the sufficient power to place a knockout blow against Leben, but this match will forward ultimate level of excitement.
