UFC 116 NEWS/ FIGHTCARD
UFC 116 countdown show is a game show which is telecasted on television. In this countdown show boxing competetions are held and for boxing a referee is necessary so that he can make the competitors follow the rules of game and for that purpose an experienced referee Josh Rosenthal was selected to officiate the main event- UFC 116, going to be held in the month of july, in Las Vegas, between temporary belt holder Shane Carwin (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and heavyweight champion of UFC, Brock Lesnar (4-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Rosenthal was selected from a number of available referees which includes Steve Mazzagatti, Herb Dean and Mario Yamasaki at the NSAC meeting which was held on June 09,2010 in Las Vegas.The other referees complained but their complaints were not considered and Rosenthal was selected as the referee of UFC 116 countdown show.
UFC 116 will start in july in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The show will be telecasted on ESPN UK, at 11.30 p.m. and on pay-per-view. Moreover, Seth Petruzelli’s after an absence of two years returned to UFC officially because he was officially announced for a UFC 116 match with Ricardo Romero (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) who is a heavyweight newcomer. Seth Petruzelli’s is best known because of defeating Kevin Ferguson and mey be it is the reason of his come back to the organization of UFC.
