The Ultimate Fighter is a reality series of television and it is a competition of (MMA) “mixed martial arts” and this reality show is being originated from America and it is produced by (UFC)- “The ultimate fighting championship” and Spike TV. Occupational fighters MMA who aim to have fame compete and fight with each other, situated outside Las Vegas, Nevada in a house, to win the title of The Ultimate Fighter, winning a multi-competition contract with the UFC, on this reality show of television.
The fighters of UFC were selected for fist four seasons in two weight classes. These fighters are split into two teams; each team is coached by the current headliner of UFC. The teams are divided without considering the weight class. These teams then have a competition in such a way which differs by season in order to find out that which team would be capable of pairing one of their own competitors’ against an opponent who would also be of their own choice in the similar class of weight.
The loser is eliminated from the competition. In the last season, the last two fighters of the weight class have a single tournament and the winners are awarded with the title. The finale of team Liddell vs. team Ortiz will be broadcasted LIVE on FUEL TV,ESPN AND SPIKE TV at 11am EAST, Sunday 20 June, 2010. The competition will be held between two top heavyweights of UFC i.e. Matt Hamill and Keith Jardine, three rounds will be held. A middleweight match will also be held between Chris Leben and Aaron, and a lightweight competetion between Spencer Fisher and Dennis Siver.
