Karate is referred to as blowing sharply, kicking, punching to the sensitive points of the body. Karate is also referred to as traditional Japanese system of unarmed combat. It was developed in the Ryukyu Islands in what is now Okinawa, Japan. We have some interesting thing for karate also like karate was an American indie jazz band. This band was formed in 1993 in Boston by Geoff Farina, Eamonn Vitt and Gavin McCarthy. Karate was also a video game released in 1982 produced by Ultravision for Atari. Karate is also referred to as “empty hands” since the fighter is usually empty hand while fighting.
In reality Karate is a martial having origins from Japan which deals in attacking via body movements, blocking, and counter attacks using kicks, punches and strikes. A Karate fighter can also use Joint locks, restraints and takedowns but to some extent. The basic purpose for practicing Karate is to self defense, keeping healthy and sportive. When we talk about self defense certain principals are taught to defend in different conditions and situations. One can develop balance, co-ordination, aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility when we talk about the health of a Karate fighter. There are three elements when practicing Karate: kihon (basics), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring).
